Take your Diploma and make a photo copy. Take the original and the photo copy to a notary public and obtain the notary stamp for the photo copy of
your diploma. Please make sure you get the photo copy notarized and not the original because the Immigration will not return your documents back
to you. Once you obtain the Notary Stamp, you will then need to send the notarized copy to the State Secretary of State where your university is
located for the Apostille.
You may find all the necessary information from this website : https://www.fbi.gov/about-us/cjis/identity-history-summary-checks
Please note the FBI must authenticate the Criminal Record Check. Without the authentication, you will not be able to obtain the required
Apostille. Mail the required items —signed applicant information form, fingerprint card, and payment of $18 U.S. dollars - to the following address :
FBI CJIS Division – Record Request
1000 Custer Hollow Road
Clarksburg, WV 26306
Tel: (304) 625 5590
